Jay Womack holds a BS from Samford University and a ThM from Dallas Theological Seminary. Prior to becoming a financial advisor for the last 14 years, he was a professor at Montreat University. He has been a recipient of the “Top 40 Under 40” award for business entrepreneurs in Western North Carolina. Jay is married to Kate and they are the proud parents of Jack and Ella. In his free time, he enjoys volunteering at church, serving on the boards of local non-profits, reading, travel and driving his tractor. He currently is a member of MENSA, has completed additional education through the College for Financial Planning and holds the Accredited Investment Fiduciary® (AIF®) designation. In addition, Jay has completed postgraduate study at Harvard Business School and has presented his research at various economic conferences. The focus of Jay’s practice is to provide smarter financial solutions that are uniquely customized for each individual client and explained in plain, simple language that everyone can understand. Typically, Jay only accepts clients on a referral basis, but will individually consider each inquiry, situation, and request to engage his service. He is most interested in complex financial planning and investment situations requiring additional insight and solutions that traditional financial advisors are unable to provide.
