Mercy Martinez initially studied business at Kellogg Community College, in her home state of Michigan. After moving to Arizona in 2010, she resumed her studies and earned an Associate Degree in Business & Arts from Chandler-Gilbert Community College, and continues her education at Arizona State University.

In her free time, Mercy coaches youth sports and enjoys hiking, running marathons, traveling and spending time with her family.
