Nestor Montoya has over 17 years experience in the financial services industry. He earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Business with a concentration in Finance and a minor in Economics at the University of New Mexico. Nestor has the following registrations: 7, 24, 63 and 66. He also holds Arizona life, health, disability and variable contracts licenses and is a member of the Financial Planning Association.
After several years of comprehensive study, Nestor earned the professional designations of Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) from the College for Financial Planning, and Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC®) from the American College of Financial Services. He is uniquely qualified and committed to assisting employees of the public education system and their families plan for retirement and consult on the specific issues facing them.
Nestor was born and raised in Albuquerque, NM, and has made Phoenix his home for over 15 years. He and his wife Santa Ana, enjoy participating in athletics, music and academic school functions with their sons and daughters. In his spare time, Nestor likes hiking, cooking, going to the gym, spending time at the library and traveling with his family.
